Online Payment Tracking
Many people have problems with paying their bills on time. It doesn’t matter if we are talking about an electricity bill, or credit card overdraws, people simply cannot remember all the dates when they have to make payments. Since most people have credit cards, they have a very simple option: online payment. This will reduce their extra expenses which are accumulated with late payments.

People usually have lots of extra payments only because they do not pay their bills on time, and this way they gather many late fees. For those who had enough of paying these late fees, they have a very simple thing to do: to pay online. Many people could pay their bills online because major credit card issuers allow online payment.
It might happen that online payment is not activated together with the credit card, in this case the person should call the bank and they will activate an online payment account, if such thing is in their offer.

An online account is easy to set up, and it takes only a few minutes. An online account will worth the time, even if people are afraid of the potential risks. Actually, there are only a few potential risks, and problems mostly happen to people, who are not careful with their passwords, or their personal computer is not secure. If a person does not pay attention to these things, an online account access might not be a good idea for them, because of their thoughtlessness a third party may get access to their online account. But there is almost no risk for people who are careful.
Online payments are very convenient because people can pay their bills at any time of the day, they only have to turn on their computer and access their online payment account. The do not have to send checks on several days of the months, or even go to the bank to make some payments. There is an even bigger advantage: people can schedule their payments automatically. Whenever they know that they will have money on their account, they can make an automatic payment. The person only has to set the amount he wants to pay and he has to set the date of the payment. In case the amount is not enough, he can complete the payment on a later date.

Also, people can change their credit card bill date with only one telephone call. Not every bank allows this operation, but many of them do, so it is worth a try. If the person can change the date of his credit card bill, it could come on the same time with other bills, so it will make the owner’s life easier, since he will not have to send several checks on several days of the month.

Another good option is to pay credit card bills by the phone. In this case the person has to call the bank and one of the operators will perform the transaction. People should be careful with this option, because some banks have associated fees with this service. The fees differ from bank to bank and they might go as high as $15, so this option should be considered as a last resort. The last resort would be sending the check by real mail. Once again, the person should consider the previously listed options, because express mail can be expensive. So first the person should compare the late fee with the price of the mail, and if it is possible, he should choose another option.

All in all, there are many options to pay the bills on time, but people are not aware of these options, thus they pay late fees only because they cannot remember the due dates. The simplest thing to do for a person is to set up an online account, that way he can pay at any hour. The other good option is to change the due dates close to one another or close to salary day, when the person is sure that he will have money on his account. It is as simple, but people are not aware of these options.
